Sound struggle:

 trance warrior's march (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAEeZiue4KM&feature=youtu.be

Begun this one around 2010-2011 in one file where others spawned from, as Quarrel. At first, the idea was for it to have percussion but it felt better without it.

An Imaginary Confession to a Philosopher

Jordan Bernt Peterson's Biblical Series inspired me to write something about the evolution of consciousness. I felt an urge to do it after listening to the video series about 2 months ago.

Albert Camus' The Myth of Sisyphus also had an impact on me. I've read that some years ago.

The title reflects the fact that the idea came as me imagining a discussion with prof. Peterson on various philosophical things.

Synesthetic life:

 twisted dreams (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwDYJNXWFEw&feature=youtu.be

Made this one around 2007. The original version was tad different but didn't really sound too good. It was less house and more like fast tempo hip-hop.

Blissful choo-choo:

 train for justice (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gEwyPttquM&feature=youtu.be

Made this around 2011. Tried a different type of percussion than the usual 1-2, 1-2.

Nature innervates:

swamp (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQlNWPF92kE&feature=youtu.be

Made this one around 2011. Tried something new than usual, mixing in some nature sounds. Sadly, I don't remember what site(s) I took those from.

Waves collide:

 quarrel (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLleg4DPEQ4&feature=youtu.be

Started this one around 2011 along with others in the same file. Basically, I had one percussion looping while I made as many melodies I was inspired to on it. It's how I usually started working with Fruity Loops. Finished this one in 2019 and added an electric guitar part at the end.

Never too much electronic:

 long journey (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FKiMTCYREE&feature=youtu.be

Made this around 2008 (I think) and many times it happened that I got bored with one type of electronic genre and headed towards another in the same composition. The trumpet part might be a bit too familiar but I haven't yet pinpointed a song or melody that sounds exactly the same.

It's one of my longest tracks.

Hopping around with the piano synth:

hopping piano+piano hop (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUPrtY3yPNE&feature=youtu.be

These are some of my first compositions, pretty bare. The first was made around 2008 and the second around 2007, the latter with two friends tagging along on what beats and sounds to put in there.
Since I had no midi controller until 2014, most compositions were done either from mind and drawing notes with the mouse or sometimes playing the notes on Reason's perpendicular keyboard with the mouse, as only Fruity Loops (later FL Studio) had the option to use the PC keyboard at that time. I didn't start these ones on the classical guitar.

My beginning:

dragon (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-wiraXv-Jc
dragon (2nd) [original]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VL7qflazmjY
dragon (3rd) [original]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RDUlhH2BcY&feature=youtu.be

It's pretty much my first ever finished composition, made around 2006. It has rock influences (tried mimicking an electric guitar) since I was mostly listening to rock genres from a young age. I also experimented with minors and majors in this one. Overall, quite synth/artificial sounding but I was OK with it back then albeit generally melancholic.
I remember getting some DragonHeart movie (Draco character) vibes when making it, so it's probably the reason it ended up named like that.

As I listened to more types of music more and more and got not only accustomed but inspired, I developed a fancy to recreate my own compositions in various ways. This helped a lot at combining genres. Thus the second and third versions for dragon were born (around 2008). The latter is more of a template than actual music though.

YouTube has removed the second version considering it spam. But the issue was solved the next day after appealing. Good and swift work, thanks. Let's hope it doesn't happen again with the third one :D

Jumping romance:

heartbeat (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jsLmd0ZjLQ&feature=youtu.be

Begun this one sometime between 2006-2007 and it had a different structure, more straightforward, linear. Around 2009 it got shaped as others of mine, everything started on classical guitar of course.
My friends back then had a blast with the original version. Not sure why though since it's pretty melancholic sounding. Anyways, it's been remastered over the years until around 2016, I think, when I did a sort of whole work sound equalization and whatnot.
Oh yeah, and back then I was a bit in love, the composition had some lyrics made for it but nah, better without any.

March sings:

spring (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iRbKUp5xBw&feature=youtu.be

Started this one way back around 2007. Never got to finish it until March of 2019 because it was painful to play around with the tempo and structure at the time. I added another part to it (first on guitar as usual) sometime around last year or so.

In the beginning there was darkness and in the end, the same:

 night's hospitality (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G5NqRK0M9E&feature=youtu.be

Started this one on classical guitar two Tuesday nights ago, in total darkness. I just had this urge that I had to make it for some reason. Usually, I tend to the old sketches I haven't yet made into proper compositions.

In between Christmases:

lamutacus (remake): https://youtu.be/CG5HnH1GkE8

Started this one in December, this year. Finished today.
"Soon", I'll be running out of carols and/or holiday songs. Good thing, it's one per year, I guess.
