Take one almost final:

 perilous venture (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0LTeqQG1c0

First Super Nintendo style one made for the project. Kind of lacking in the first part.

 minotaur conquistador (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdALtcdGin8

They liked this one the most. Not my favourite.

Following: https://deepstrasz.blogspot.com/2026/07/take-one-iv.html Zero replies from them devs to this day.

Both made sometime around April 2025 using William Kage's SNES extracted soundfonts.

Pay gun not good:

 pagan zest (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wj3iUvhsRqo

Started the sketch in 2018 on electric guitar. Begun it entirely with synth instruments in April 2026 and finished today. It's OKish, a bit too many pauses and tempo ruptures.

Take one IV:

 devilish donnybrook (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQbhClwOKIE

Started-made in May of 2025. Intended to be a boss fight but considered too medley. The composition uses soundfont instruments extracted by William Kage.

And of course, why not, no word from the devs after all this time.

Now was then:

 traction warp (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAB5kbAzgqE

Simply started this one on midi controller towards the mid of this month and finished today. It's an OK mix of slow no percussion electronic and some metal ballad. The inspiration for it was the photos after I sent them to a cousin and she said the cloud looked like a black hole.

Take one III:

  Following from: https://deepstrasz.blogspot.com/2026/06/take-one-ii.html

 scryosmos (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94yDs74qb2k

This one was considered sad or along those lines by the devs. I intended it to be a menu track.

racing friendship (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjPfhhQFs5c

While wanting it to be more fast paced and action packed it was seen morI e suitable for something related to vehicles or quicker gameplay. This one's meant to loop.

I guess they aren't that fitting to a fantasy survival RPG retro inspired indie game after all.

Yet, radio silence from the developers as to the project's status or anything about it.

Started both of them sometime around May 2025 and finished in the following month(s). They were made with SNES/Super Nintendo Soundfonts from William Kage.

Never ending progress really:

 clashing fates (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QX6zb6YbMEU

Begun sometime in December 2022 if not earlier. Had many creative blocks and it's still not too good. Finished today.

Concept music for: https://www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/acolyte-of-life.330425/

Initially (now deleted) it contained a more gladiatorial part of the dialogue between the main character and the last boss but the main campaign developer thought it sounded too oriental. Well, afterwards it became too medley. So, I pictured it something like fighting the last enemy leader or a verbally heated prelude to that at least.

Keys of uncertainty:

 do minus (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuibtlmpGOg

Started in April, done today, 6th of June 2026. Went with some rave in mind but ended pretty weirdly minimal orchestral. Kind of monotonous in places. More like testing VSTs and some playing/use techniques.

Never-ending progress:

 rustic ways (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1WgpQurg5c

Started in February 2022 with long pauses and idea lacking. Finished the polish sometime around the first part of this year.

Concept music for: https://www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/acolyte-of-life.330425/

The game leader thought it was like two compositions and I guess it's a bit too varied for a game especially when trying to capture a certain mood/theme. It should be playing in a monastery village thing.

Differently the same:

 sacred raving (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjnfD0aOVuI

Begun in April. Finished today. Tad repetitive really but has a nice mood overall methinks. Little funk, some rave wannabe and a splice of orchestral, why not.

Take one II:

 agent lizard (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tsxk75irwM

 Continuation from: https://deepstrasz.blogspot.com/2026/05/take-one.html

Made this one sometime in May 2025. The devs wanted a more old game sounding experience so I found some Super Nintendo soundfonts (samples from those games that can be used as virtual instruments): https://www.williamkage.com/snes_soundfonts/

They weren't too satisfied with it saying it sounded more like some James Bond inspired track which I can't necessarily deny, however, from my point of view it's rather Mission Impossible.

Still radio silence from them.

Take one:

 ghastly invitation (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v--OMju8sM4

Made this sometime around May last year for an indie game under development. Didn't quite sound that retro as the main dev wanted and didn't really come out as something too playable during the game in terms of battle and all. However, the reason I put it to everyone's ears is that the team went radio silent for months.

Heh musique:

 routinely ordinary (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-z0rhC-HjY

Began this as a sketch on classic guitar in last year's June; done April today. Just some regular from here to there and there to here and that's it. Meant to loop. All virtual instruments.

Times of meh:

 spontaneity (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=br-PkeUw3Bc

Tested some guitar plugins and this particular experiment turned into a one shot quasicomposition. This March.

Trip of the string:

 revelatoryca (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kwY1sKA6c8

Pretty much a homage to one of my favourite bands/musical groups: Apocalyptica. Overall it strays from the source material to some short cut anime day dreaming. Made this March 2026.

Cross-inspiration:

 love shooter (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Dej0sdwdss

Got some simplistic tune going as a result of stuff in my head starting with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RkdFwmuyoc and derivatives. No real instruments used. Finished today. Started sometime this month.

Boring the masses:

 slim room beginnings (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIqsPEaywz8

Started this sometime at the end of January, finished or something like that today. Perhaps there's some Thin Red Line Inception right there aside an unnoticeable flicker of wild wild west. Entirely virtual instrumentation.

Feeling the sentiment:

manic nostalgia (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NPxI82juYI

What began as a sketch on classical guitar in may (2025) recently (effective today) ended up as an orchestral rock thing. The initial idea was to be more in tune with general rock/nu metal thingy but my mind changed a week ago and the result is this: a virtual dulcimer in place of an electric guitar with guitar bass and rock type drums though spiced up with synthetic (of course) orchestra instruments.

More sound than music:

 exoplanet sands (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z66mYl9JUWA

Made this in July 2024 for an internet acquaintance's sci-fi game project. It didn't leave the concept room as it wasn't that well received and I sadly didn't have time to do multiple tries considering there were other dozens of tracks needed. Pretty much, my kind of first ambient track.

Warcraft: Orcs & Humans reinstrumentation

 Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8xm7oiYdJc&list=PL5w4afABDA-wB_pH91-SuhjSmIU0L0x-1

Got the game's soundtrack midi files from an internet friend Evilhog for months. Didn't think I'll be getting to try making the OST sound nicer (at least in my perspective) but I finally did, mostly during some evenings-nights. Tried having it not go outside the known version but wanted it more like a real orchestra.

Added some voices where they fit. Couldn't get all the nice sound FX and synthy VSTs the composer used but tried some makeshifts. Human I got two octaves higher so I could have it start with the low pitch sound since the instruments I used couldn't get that low as in the original.

Made in 2024, around 2 months or so (with big pauses of course); finished in December.

Evening rechill:

 toby fox-undertale (adaptation): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F84DbBWE8AU

A sketch, intended as a sort of riddle for an internet acquaintance, more than anything. Doodled in 2019. Thinking of doing a more rock take, perhaps.
