sphere of the architect (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgWvT4k3jqk&feature=youtu.be
Elongated the beginning too much but I didn't want to shorten it out. It doesn't sound that bad and work was put on it. The second half of the song is where it gets interesting without images to help out.
If anyone's wondering what this thing might mean, the thinking process went something like so:
- the long metallic notes represent the resonance of the sketchy thought process; the notes are shortened and become higher pitched as the thought becomes more clear and takes shape
- the clicks mean the work process and time, then followed by steam snare drums; a foundation is built to which harmony is added via brass, strings and bass
- as the labour reaches its end, a period of rest and calmness comes into play, the metallic sounds becoming less blunt and more melodic through bells; hammering, however, takes place as wooden instruments make their presence heard, representing life
- in the end there is less and less metal and more wood based resonance, the architect finishing the work (which can be a universe, a world, an artistic piece, just about anything you feel fits), leaving things take their own course from there
